This is the absolutely lovely "Sunday Afternoon" toile by P. Kaufman. We call it Seaside Toile because it is so reminiscent of the turn of the century ladies at leisure on a pretty afternoon with their children at seaside. The ladies are chatting while the children are building sand castles and having so much fun!
The swing top is made with ribbon threaded through button holes that tie at the shoulders for big fluffy bows. The hem of the swing top and the trousers are ruffled with the same red grosgrain ribbon.
