Children's Cottage Return Information And Policies.

RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICIES.

Name Brand, In Stock Items.


Name brand items that are in stock in our shop as of the time of your order may be returned for a full refund (less the shipping charges) within 10 days after order delivery. Items must not have been damaged, worn or laundered, and all items must be returned with the original tags AND receipt/invoice. If not, you will not receive full credit for the return. For return policies relating to sale items, hair wear/hats, and bathing suits/boys' swim trunks, see below sections.

Special Order Items/Sale Items.


Items that we must special order for you AND clothing/items purchased at a SALE, at CLEARANCE price, as part of a HOLIDAY season clearance, OR during one of our sale promotions, are NOT RETURNABLE OR EXCHANGEABLE. PLEASE be sure of your purchase of these items at the time of purchase BECAUSE ALL sales are FINAL as to these items.

Monogrammed and Custom Made Items.


Monogrammed and custom made items are NOT RETURNABLE OR EXCHANGEABLE. Please be sure of these items, their sizing, and correctness for your child prior to finalizing your order. Remember to call us with any questions prior to ordering. Also, any error or defect must be reported within TEN DAYS of receipt. We are not responsible for natural wear and tear on garments, and are not responsible for items that have not been laundered correctly.

Hair Bows/Headbands/Hats/Bathing Suits.


Hair bows, headbands, hats and bathing/swim suits and boys' swim trunks are NOT returnable or exchangeable for hygiene reasons. Please be sure of these items prior to finalizing your order. Remember to call us with any questions prior to ordering.

RETURN/EXCHANGE PROCESS.


You must email childrenscottage01@gmail.com to obtain our required RETURN AUTHORIZATION (RA) number. Include your order number, list of items you would like to return, and the reason for the return in your email when requesting an RA number. NOTE: Returns received without an RA number printed on the outside of the package will be refused. RA numbers that we assign MUST be used within 1 week of your receipt of the number, OR, it expires, and may not be used.

You must use a carrier with insurance and tracking when making your return, and promptly send the package to:

Please allow 4 weeks for credits to be processed once the package is received, and we determine that it was received timely.

Late returns will NOT be processed, but will be marked RETURN TO SENDER.

Because custom made items are ordered just for you, payment in full is required at the time you place your order. Orders for custom or personalized items may not be cancelled after production has begun.

Cancellation Policy.


If you decide to cancel your order of name brand items that we have to special order for you or that are pre-order items, there will be a 25% RESTOCKING FEE. This includes those orders that do NOT specify a date by which the items are needed and those where wrong or faulty addresses are given. Items that must be cancelled due to manufacturor errors or fabric unavailabilities/shortages will NOT INCUR this fee, as these two circumstances are beyond you, as the purchaser's, control.
