Our Home party~trunk show collection includes many of our custom designed dresses, bubbles, John Johns, Longalls, shorts, pants, and two piece sets for girls and boys. Our goal is to dress children beautifully, yet traditionally. We love to see children dressed like children! After all, they ARE only young once.
Our Spring~Summer home parties~trunk shows are typically held from January 1st until April 1st, and our Fall~Winter home parties~shows are held from July 15th until October 1st. Each season change we retain some of the same designs we offered in the previous season although with appropriate sleeve and trouser lengths, but we also add several new designs including ones for the applicable holidays.
Each Home Party~Trunk Show Representative purchases a detailed photographic presentation book which includes photographs, available fabrics, product codes, available monograms, and retail prices of all designs we are offering for that season through our home parties~trunk shows. The price for the presentation book is $50.00.
In addition to the photographic presentation book, each Sales Representative must choose at least 5 pieces of the applicable season's clothing in order to show those at the home parties~trunk shows. Party attendees usually purchase more when they are able to see the quality of workmanship and monogramming of the clothing in addition to the photographs.
The Sales Representative may choose the style of each sample, the size, and the monogram, if any. The wonderful advantage to only having to purchase a minimum of 5 pieces to show along with your photographic presentation book is that your investment is low, AND you may order the clothing samples in YOUR children's/grandchildren's or even nieces'or nephews' sizes and monograms. (i.e. the perfect way to partially outfit them each season!) You are not limited to the 5 pieces, and may order more samples if you would like to.
We provide each Sales Representative with postcards to mail to potential party attendees and order forms for customers. Modes of payment for Representatives and customers are personal check or credit card. All credit card transactions and electronic conversion of checks are completed by us upon our receipt of the orders from the Representative after each party is held.
As a Representative, you receive a 10% commission on your completed sales, and bonuses of 5% of your completed sales when you reach certain sales goals.
The key to success of a home party~trunk show representative is the development of a complete and thorough address list for attendees at your parties. It is also important to recruit several home hostesses for parties. A good list begins with family, friends, and names of persons from any organizations you belong to such as social organizations, church, schools, playgroups, civic organizations, and others. We do also refer any requests we receive to host a party to the Representative closest in residence/territory to interested hostess.
You may also present our products at your own home or elsewhere as a trunk show.
Ladies who host a home party will receive a monetary credit towards their personal purchase of our clothing depending on the total amount of completed sales at their party.
