We just love this style and had to do it for this Spring and Summer seasons.
We take the "knot dress" and do it in reverse. The result is a beautiful, sophisticated dress that has wide shoulder straps that thread through 2 openings in the back part of the bodice to form a large bow with long sashes. The dress is made with a high bodice and a gathered, full skirt. The bottom of the dress is embellished with a panel of fabric matching the bodice.
Here, we have chosen to use fabrics by Heather Bailey from her Nicey Jane collection. The bodice and bottom panel of the dress are made with the Pocketbook in rose fabric and the skirt, shoulder straps, bow and sashes are made with the lovely Hello Roses in olive fabric.
You may also choose to do the dress in white fabric with ecru, light pink or light blue satin ribbon. Elegant and perfect for weddings, special occasions and portraits!
